Maintaining a constant temperature and relative humidity is always considered as an utmost important aspect for industries that are into preparing, processing and manufacturing. These requirements vary from process to process & product to product. Any deviation in these temperatures will cost more productivity and energy. There are few areas where industrial cooling is used in the process area but that doesn't have any effect on the process but used to maintain comfort conditions that indirectly increases the productivity of workman. But there are many areas where the temperature and RH plays a critical role in the process output quality. For example, the preparation of synthetic fibers or chemical compounds requires controlled levels of: temperature and humidity; high temperatures and low humidity generally results in increased drying rates.

Apart from supporting the process, one of the important aspect of safety is maintaining higher humidities above 55% almost avoids shock due to static electricity.
